Shadow Reports

The purpose of Shadow Reports is to supplement, or "shadow," the report of the government of a particular nation on a reproductive rights issue.

The Center for Reproductive Rights develops these reports in conjunction with our partner organizations around the globe. Our Shadow Reports play an essential role in providing credible and reliable independent information to international human rights treaty monitoring bodies regarding the legal status and real-life situation of women and the efforts being made by governments to comply with human rights treaties in countries all over the world. For a complete list of our current shadow reports, available for free PDF download, return to our website publication's department.

For further information or to order printed copies, please e-mail publications@reprorights.org (Hardcopies of Shadow Reports are $4 each or $40 for the full set. Please specify languages.)

Shadow Reports are available online in PDF format. To view PDF files, you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader, which can be downloaded for free by clicking here.
